{"id":2125,"date":"2017-01-04T08:07:21","date_gmt":"2017-01-04T08:07:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mpci.asia\/en\/?p=2125"},"modified":"2017-01-04T08:07:21","modified_gmt":"2017-01-04T08:07:21","slug":"gas-recovery-south-pars-20-yy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mpcioil.com\/en\/gas-recovery-south-pars-20-yy\/","title":{"rendered":"Gas Recovery from South Pars Up 20% Y\/Y"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TEHRAN, Dec. 31 (Shana) \u2013 Iran&#8217;s natural gas production from the supergiant South Pars Gas Field has risen 20% in the first 9 months of the current calendar year (started March 20) from a year ago, a gas official said.<br \/>\nMasoud Hassani, managing director of South Pars Gas Complex, said SPGC revenues have increased by 5.6 billion dollars from the offshore fields during the 9 months from the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>SPGC supplies 63.7% of Iran&#8217;s total gas output.<br \/>\nOnce fully productive, the field will be supplying over 80% of Iran&#8217;s gas output by 2018, Hassani added.<\/p>\n<p>SPGC is planning to supply 850 million cubic meters of natural gas, 720 mcm of sweet gas, 4 mcm of sour gas and 2,500 tons of sulfur by mid-2018.<br \/>\nIran expects to increase gas production from South Pars to 540 mcm\/d by the end of the calendar year.<\/p>\n<p>Iran shares South Pars with Qatar in Persian Gulf waters.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TEHRAN, Dec. 31 (Shana) \u2013 Iran&#8217;s natural gas production from the supergiant South Pars Gas Field has risen 20% in the first 9 months of the current calendar year (started March 20) from a year ago, a gas official said.
