{"id":2122,"date":"2017-01-04T08:04:37","date_gmt":"2017-01-04T08:04:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mpci.asia\/en\/?p=2122"},"modified":"2017-01-04T08:05:14","modified_gmt":"2017-01-04T08:05:14","slug":"iran-start-oil-recovery-south-yaran-march-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mpcioil.com\/en\/iran-start-oil-recovery-south-yaran-march-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran to Start Oil Recovery from South Yaran by March 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TEHRAN, Jan. 01 (Shana) &#8212; Iran will start pumping crude oil from South Yaran oil field by March 2017 with 10,000b\/d of output, operator of the field&#8217;s development project said.<br \/>\nHomayoon Kazemeini said drilling of 18 wells at the field have finished and installation of completion string of 15 rigs have also been finished.<\/p>\n<p>National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC), Puya Energy Kish, Naft Kar and Khatam al-Anbia Construction Headquarters are in charge of drilling.<br \/>\nYaran oilfield, divided into South and North, is estimated to contain 2 billion barrels of in-situ crude oil in its reserves.<\/p>\n<p>Iraq is already recovering 200,000 b\/d from South Yaran field which the two neighbors share.<br \/>\nThe field is being developed in Iran for production of 50,000 to 60,000 b\/d of crude oil, 60 mcm of natural gas and drilling of 30 wells.<\/p>\n<p>Hazemeini, however, said production target of the field has been halved by Iran based on the latest studies.<br \/>\nHe also said early production from the field was start during the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 20.<\/p>\n<p>Iran started production of crude oil from Yadavaran, North Azadegan and North Yaran oilfields in November.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TEHRAN, Jan. 01 (Shana) &#8212; Iran will start pumping crude oil from South Yaran oil field by March 2017 with 10,000b\/d of output, operator of the field&#8217;s development project said.
